Empowering local populations
We give part of our income to the Beninese association EDeCT, which means in English " Together for the Cultural and Tourist Development of Atacora Donga ". This is a non-profit, humanitarian organization that works to empower local populations in vulnerable or precarious situations.
We work closely with Voy'AGIR, a guarantee of responsible tourism.
About the association

The collaboration between Le Bélier and the EDeCT association provides funding for projects that help empower local populations. Since 2016, Le Bélier has given 5% of all its trips to l’EDeCT, which focuses on young Beninese people, offering them the opportunity to take a 3-year vocational training course leading to a diploma (sewing, hairdressing, quilting, masonry, electricity, and so on).
