As a child, Sanny KASSIM, known as “Vieux Père”, founder of Le Bélier Agency, crossed paths with a German couple of doctors who came on a mission to Benin in his village, Kouandé. This life-changing encounter and the discovery of a new language and culture allowed Sanny to sharpen his already natural ability to connect with others and his evident pleasure in showing this providential couple around his village and its surroundings. Thus was born in Sanny a passion, that of a tourist guide! Constantly eager to introduce new things to this couple, Sanny had to research, educate himself, and conduct inquiries to provide precise answers to the various questions posed by these first “tourists” about the history, visited sites, and other cultural and religious realities of his region. After undergoing various training as a tourist guide, he embarked on building his own hotel, bar-restaurant, and purchasing tourist vehicles to offer more professional services. Sanny won’t leave you without mentioning his “little wife,” Nathalie, who is also engaged in organizing trips and daily management.
